Superb album by the american duo. Hip hop with no rap? Soul?
Nice vintage sounds crossing trip hop fields plus a real singer and you can’t go wrong.
The Odd Couple don’t let things down in any moment. Vibrant and passionate music from the very beginning to the very ending.

Some people will probably compare them to the Outkast‘s pop-oriented side, because of the Cee-lo‘s vocals. But I say with no doubt, Gnarls Barkley is real, in-depth music.

This album just blew me away. The Heavy is a retro outfit playng funk, soul and rock. An intense explosion of energy and enthusiasm.

If you like 70’s music you need to get this thing. It’s absolutely breathtaking. It’s so underknown.

Me’Shell NdegéOcello - Comfort Woman

First time I listened to Me’Shell it was on tv, she was at a jazz festival. She was playing a quite straightforward energetic jazz. Immediately I ran after some names I got from the show, and I just was in front of a modern soul artist.

Comfort Woman is a fresh mix of soul, dub and soft electro stuff. Most of the songs are relaxing and downtempo.
