The Cure - Disintegration

Shame on me I don’t know the whole Cure discography. But from what I know Disintegration is the very finest album.

It’s perfect when it comes to desperation, solitude and saudade.

Duran Duran -  Seven and the Ragged Tiger

Duran Duran is obviously one of the most iconic figures of new wave. They have everything (both musically and visually) that made the 80’s a colorful and extravagant dream-like decade.

In spite of not having the most famous hits by them, Seven and the Ragged Tiger is a very nice album for fans of 80’s pop music, and has the landmarking pulsing drums, sweet synths and the classic overdubbed vocals of Simon Le Bon which made the chorus of Duran Duran songs so memorable.

The Smiths - The Queen is Dead

Third studio album and considered the best shot by The Smiths.
The Queen is Dead has most of The Smiths classics, and meant the consolidation of the New Wave movement which marked the return of guitar as the highlighting instrument in rock music.
